NISI MASA presents « Matter of Taste »: a multi-event project about food & film in Europe!
The selected short films for our programme have now been announced! See here for the full list. The winning filmmakers will be invited to present their work alongside feature documentaries and fictions during a special event at the Lago Film Fest (Italy) in July 2009, as well as at pre-screenings in locations all over Europe!
The International Film Festival Bratislava is making a special Matter of Taste panorama during its 11th edition, from 27th November to 4th December!
The programme will feature a selection of our competition shorts, as well as several documentaries already screened during the Matter of Taste project (Food Design, Eternal Mash, Milkbar), as well as many other titles (Our Daily Bread, The Lie of the Land...)
From 24th - 27th September there was a series of screenings and debates in Helsinki featuring "Matter of Taste" short films and food-themed documentaries! The 4-day event was organised by NISI MASA member Euphoria Borealis ry in partnership with DocLounge, Love&Anarchy festival and Megapolis.
The programme featured the documentaries "Bananas" (Fredrik Gertten) and "Food Inc" (Robert Kenner).
